Connected Apps: One Organization Across TropeTrainer, iLeyn, and MitzvahManager

TropeTrainer, iLeyn, and MitzvahManager are three apps in one family, and your congregation runs all of them on a single organization. The same members, the same access, and the same chanted-text settings show up wherever you go. Adding another app does not start a second account or a second roster: it opens a new door onto the organization you already run. Only the subscription for each app is separate.

One organization behind every app

TropeTrainer carries your practice, iLeyn coordinates your services, and MitzvahManager runs your B'nai Mitzvah preparation, and all three read from one organization rather than three copies of it. Your congregation is a single record, so a change you make in one app is the change every other app sees. Nothing is duplicated and nothing drifts out of step.

Your members and their access come along

The people on your roster, and what each of them is allowed to do, belong to the organization rather than to any one app. Add a leyner in TropeTrainer and iLeyn already knows them. Make someone an administrator once and they are an administrator everywhere. There is never a second list to invite or a parallel set of permissions to keep aligned.

What iLeyn assigns, your leyners practice here

This is where the family earns its keep. A gabbai schedules a service in iLeyn and assigns a leyner to an aliyah, and that reader prepares the very passage they were given, in TropeTrainer, against your congregation's own trope and voicing. A tutor sets a MitzvahManager student a practice assignment, and the student chants it in TropeTrainer the same way. Preparation stops being a separate errand and becomes the next step after the assignment.

Set your chanted text once

Your chanted-text settings are the clearest thing you share: the trope, voicing, transliteration, and Hebrew display your community reads with. TropeTrainer, iLeyn, and MitzvahManager each show them, which makes it easy to assume you are looking at three configurations to keep in agreement. You are not. It is one value on one organization, so setting it anywhere sets it everywhere.

Only the subscriptions are per app

Billing is the one piece that stays separate. Subscribe to TropeTrainer, iLeyn, and MitzvahManager independently and pay for exactly the apps your congregation uses. Everything else, your organization and its members and its settings, comes along the moment an app is active, so adding one is a billing decision rather than a fresh setup.

Frequently asked questions

Do TropeTrainer, iLeyn, and MitzvahManager use the same organization?

Yes. All three run on one organization, so your members, their access, and your settings are the same in every app.

Do I have to add my leyners separately in each app?

No. Your members belong to the organization rather than to an app, so you add someone once and every app your congregation uses knows them.

I see chanted-text settings in more than one app. Are those different?

No. It is one shared value on your organization. Editing it in TropeTrainer changes exactly what iLeyn and MitzvahManager read, so there is nothing to keep in sync.

What actually differs between the apps?

The subscriptions. You subscribe to each app on its own, while the organization, its members and access, and its shared settings stay the same across all of them.
