A TropeTrainer organization lets your congregation hold its practice licenses together instead of asking every leyner to buy one. Add as many members as you like, buy the number of licenses you actually need, and grant each license by hand to the reader who is preparing right now. Buy practice licenses once, at an organization rate, and hand them out yourself instead of asking each leyner to subscribe on their own. Your organization holds the licenses, so a reader preparing a Torah portion gets full TropeTrainer access without a personal subscription, and you keep your whole roster of readers in one place. Congregations run this for the leyners who chant on Shabbat, for the gabbaim who step in when someone cannot read, and for the adult learner taking on a portion for the first time.
Open My Organizations to reach every organization you belong to, then open yours to work on it. Each organization keeps its people under Members and Requests to Join, and its settings in their own sections: the basics, your chanted text, your TropeTrainer defaults, and your plans. Administrators reach all of it. Everyone else simply sees who is on the roster.
Add everyone who reads for your congregation, however many that is. Members are never capped, and the number of licenses you bought has no bearing on how many people you can add. Licenses are the smaller, separate number: each one gives a single member full TropeTrainer access, and the Members section tells you how many of yours are in use, so you always know where you stand before you grant another.
Open Manage Member beside anyone on your roster and grant the license from there. A license never lands on someone automatically, so a member joining your organization does not quietly take a seat you were saving. Revoke a license just as easily and grant it to a different reader the same afternoon, which is how a congregation covers a rotating group of leyners with a modest number of licenses. When a member already pays for TropeTrainer, their record says so, and you can spend the license on someone else.
Choose your congregation's defaults once and every member practices against them: the trope and voicing your community chants, the transliteration and Hebrew display your readers expect, your calendar and reading cycle. Buy licenses and adjust how many you hold from Plans in the same place. Set this up early and your readers open TropeTrainer already tuned to the way your congregation reads.
